So love this family! I started babysitting for them about 5 years ago and have really watched these kids grown up. It is always such a joy just to be around them. They are such a loving family- their children are so cute, smart, and fun- but more importantly so well behaved! We headed out to their family ranch for their session. Ummm– why haven’t we shot there before?! Lakes, creeks, orchards, wishing well,  gardens, chickens, and awesome tree house! Beautiful fall colors and too many perfect photo spots to get to in just one afternoon. Love Creek is the perfect name for this glorious Godly place.

THANKS so much to the Hunsucker family for bidding on my silent auction package so that we could GIVE back to their elementary school. I am always so eager to meet families who win the donated silent auction packages; they always end up being some of my favorite and best clients! These sweet kids were too funny and so well behaved behind the scenes, but in front of the camera were so natural and easy to photograph. I hope that everyone has a relaxing and wonderful Thanksgiving!! xoxo

Not another one!!! wow- 2 of my closet friends are officially wives now. Below are some pics I snapped of Maggie and Brian’s wedding. Maggie and I have been friends for years, families are intertwined, and were roommates for 4 years! I know this girl VERY well and know she and Brian are the perfect match. Brian and I actually met at Camp Longhorn before Maggie even told us this was the man of her dreams. Mags and her dad are very close- so I was so so so glad I got to snap these pics of them before she became a Cromeens and before I became a normal wedding guest. Annie, Jack, and Sam were great in the wedding… they passed the test to be in mine ;)

Tomorrow I am going to post a few pics from the Venue itself- a fabulous addition to the wonderful town of Cuero. So special that Maggie and Brian were the first to be married there!

Oh little Lauren! It seriously seems like I was just meeting this family for the first time and photographing their tiny baby girl. They are just as sweet as I remember, but Lauren is so big! and singing, and dancing, and laughing, and talking, talking, talking. She was all smiles and lasted longer than any 2 year old I have ever had. I kept getting inspired… and she kept cooperating. I can spot tulle from a mile away and HAD to get some extra use out of her tu tu from halloween. So sweet sweet sweet!! xo

Mr. Laura Haley Photography is turning 2!!! ugh- so strange as I feel like I was just taking Kim’s maternity pics. Baby Kelton is not a baby anymore, but a rough & tough- precious little boy. I don’t know when got such a mind of his own, but he is hard to catch up with. Loving balloons is an understatement for Kelton- he is a bit obsessed…. and it made for a really fun session. I love this family so much that sometimes it is hard for me to shut up and do my job. love Love love them… they have been so supportive of my little business from the beginning and I am truly blessed to have them in my life.

A week and a half ago- I got to catch up with and say goodbye to one of my favorite families in San Antonio. The Donicas are off for a new adventure in their life… moving to Kansas! I went from babysitting for them, to photographing them, to really thinking of them as friends. Such a fun and very loving family. We spent the morning being tourists in our own town- hitting all of the downtown attractions- even a souvenir shop. It was a great session, and I always have so much fun with Tate and Maren- these kids are hilarious and there is never a dull moment. Thank you guys for having me photograph your family these past few years. I am ready to book my plane ticket! so it’s only “see ya later!” xoxo

I used to babysit in this neighborhood, so when the Cantwells called me for a session- there was no need to travel far. Great county setting right in their own yard.  Just an easy goin’ afternoon hanging out in the yard. Their grandparents even join in the fun for a few pictures. This weekend, I am doing what I love- working on pictures and hanging out with my family at the coast. life is delicious- go out and enjoy it-  I’m off to the beach. xo

Did that really just happen?! One of my very best friends in the world just got married!!!!! That was the most fun adventure of my life- I am so happy for these 2. We partied like rock-stars and ate at some of the most amazing restaurants. I was a bridesmaid, but snapped as many pictures as I could before I had to walk down the aisle. This wedding was seriously- fun, classy, wild, sophisticated, glitzy, and full of love. I am so blessed to have been a part of it and have these great friends in my life. Cheers to many years!

(ps- in the most beautiful romantic setting… she walked down the isle to dancing queen! I love that crazy girl)
