“Here I am, where I ought to Be” – Louise Edrich
I photographed Claire and her little cousins years ago when she was visiting her family in Texas. Now, as a beautiful 13 year old, I had the please of working with her again– and just her! This is such a great age to work with. Well, girls at least! ha ha

….and they lived happily ever after.
The End

ok- i lied… i am making it 3 wedding posts

I have a confession- I am really starting to enjoy shooting weddings… dare I say love.
I knew Taelor and I would hit it off, and I truly feel like we will be friends now that we are both done planning weddings. Oh- and our husbands already know each other! small small world. I am splitting this post into 2 because I wanted to share so many pics. It is so much fun when brides are as laid back as Taelor and plan out their day well enough to actually enjoy it. I must say– I have gotten lucky with cool-calm-and collected brides. By the end of the day- I felt like intern Kahlei and I were part of the wedding party. The boys were no exception- they were a blast too. Fabulous dress, fabulous friends, fabulous couple. xo

With every rising of the sun, think of your life as just begun. – unknown
My best friend, Stacey, who was going to be “single forever” got married! I snapped pictures until I had to throw my camera at a stranger- grab my bouquet, and prance down the aisle as a proud matron of honor. Then, I picked up where I left off and snapped these pics. Stacey and I lived together for almost 5 years and have been besties for a loooong time. I am so happy for her and Matt. This wedding was extra specials to me. The coolest part is that they are about to build their first house right in this very spot. I am so excited to see this new beginning with them. I love you guys so much. xo

ok- i totally made that up, but wanted to give my good friend and photography intern, Kahlei, a shout-out. love ya-xo

Welcome to this world little one. It is even now, that much better because you are here. -Curly Girl Designs
Many people have been awaiting the arrival of this sweet baby. She is a first to many– great granddaughter, granddaughter, niece, and daughter of a family I know and love very much. We put this poor baby through a photography marathon! soooo worth it. I couldn’t pick which images I wanted to share so- bamm… here are a lot of em. xoxoxo

“The world of reality has its limits; the world of imagination is boundless.”–Jean-Jacques Rousseau
I adore kids who have a fun imaginations and who let me in on their aspirations. Cowboy Connor was a fabulous little subject- It is so great when parents let their kids be creative and who the want to be… even just for a little while. It makes for a great portrait session when they add in their own sense of style and share who they really are. Conner felt comfortable immediately in front of the camera just being himself and having fun! xo
