The world is grand, awfully big and astonishingly beautiful, frequently thrilling.- D Kilgallen

The world is grand, but so small at the same time. It thrills me to realize how we are all so connected. It is fun to get to know new clients and realize all of the people we have in common. The Daniel family were the same way! It was also so nice for the boys to be so laid back and up for whatever. With boys at the “cool” age– taking family portraits is the last thing they want to do. They were great! xo

I am finally back in San Antonio (for 2 days) after traveling around for the Christmas Holiday. It was great, but I love my job and am glad to be back at work. Here is where we spent most of our break… relaxing at the ranch with family. Bad cell service — paradise! xoxo

I couldn’t let Christmas slip away without sharing this session. Baby Harper is getting so big- she is such a happy happy little girl. Definitely on the nice list!

Merry Christmas everyone, & thank God for all the wonderful blessings in my life.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  Isaiah 9:6

You, whose day it is, get out your rainbow colors and make it beautiful!

This is a looong blog post since I am so behind on blogging and wanted to share so many of these pics. I got to hang out and photograph the Ramos family on a beautiful afternoon. We explored a little bit and found a beautiful location I often pass by and  never noticed before…. and, by beautiful location, I mean under a road bridge after stepping over a dead snake. worth it! This spot was the definition of “fall” xoxo

It is kinda sad, but I am always pleasantly surprised when sisters are SO genuinely nice to each other….like they really get along! I really don’t think these 2 are faking it- they are just that nice. The whole family is!! This is my 3rd time to photograph Megan and Katie. It is always so easy with them. We just go out in their yard and hang out. I want a sister. xo

I will grow. I will become something new and grand, but no grander than I now am. Just as the sky will be different in a few hours, its present perfection and completeness is not deficient, so am I presently perfect and not deficient because I will be different tomorrow. W Dyer.

Levi Month 7: he is growing so big and so fast! It shocks me every month. Always giggles and smiles with this little guy. Looking forward to month 8- already next week!

I think the most significant work we ever do in the whole world, in our whole life, is done within the four walls of our own home.- S R Covey

Love love love the Callaway family. Even with Caden not feeling his best – they were STILL fabulous. I love going to new locations and was thrilled they were up for a change. Back to editing. The Christmas Craziness is almost over!!!!! xo

Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things really are- M. Williamson

Tis’ the season for JOY!….it should really always be the season, but I’ll take it! It is always a joy to catch up with the Dase family. I have known them for many many years. Once upon a time I babysat and practiced taking pictures for them. They are some of the most wonderful people and have always been encouraging. love em. xo
