A good person is a gift to the whole world.- Heidi Wills

My friend De is truly a gift to the world! Her sweet grandchildren were in town for a visit and we snapped a few shots. How adorable?!?! xo

How beautiful a day can be when kindness touches it. —George Elliston

I love meeting new clients. The Rawlins family were great sports about the whole session. We had typical crazy Texas weather! These sweet kiddos went from freezing to twirling and running in the sun. Looking back, am so glad we did not call it off. I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! Back to work…

A few weeks ago, the Quarry had an awesome open house to showcase what they can do for weddings. It is a beautiful wedding location and they are wonderful to work with. It was great meeting all of the other vendors. Gotta run but wanted to share these!! xoxo

Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite.  – unknown

Oh my goodness, these guys are so in love! It has been so wonderful getting to know James, and I have known Beverly for years. We go waaaay back. I am thrilled to be photographing their wedding in September at an awesome new venue. I am nosey, and really love weddings, so it is fun to be part of the planning process and getting to hear about all the details. James is one of those awesome grooms that actually cares about details, and I love that. He was totally into the photo-session and we all had a blast. They had great ideas of their own and were happy to do what I wanted as well…. and duh- they are a great looking couple and obviously totally in love! xo

When I say I want to photography someone, what it really means is that I’d like to know them. -Annie Leibovitz

I don’t remember not loving and being so close to this family. I first got to know them when I shot Kim’s first maternity shoot…. then really liked them, now genuinely love them. I feel so blessed to have captured Kelton’s life every month for the first year and then twice a year since he was born. I think God knew this family wasn’t complete just yet, and now we are all welcoming baby Kaden into the world. I am beyond excited to meet him for the first time tomorrow for his newborn shoot. He better get used to me because he will be seeing me often! Kim was SUCH a trooper at this session. I have said that before- but this time tops it all. It was crazy bright, then pouring rain, then muggy. She laid down for me in the grass, and we literally were wringing out her dress with water and watching for snakes. Always an adventure! I had a great crew helping me at the Mosier ranch. Thank you stylist Sarah Beth- Assistant Kahlei- and super dad- Gray, entertainment- Kelton!!

sometimes it is hard to take my job seriously when I have this going on all around me! ha ha
