Being out in nature and catching up with dear friends is good for the soul! I just got back from a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Joshua Tree, California. I met my sweet friends at the LAX airport and our adventure began. We raod-tripped to Palm Springs for one fancy night on the town and then were ready for some nature.  The first few images are of these special ladies. We laughed, we cried, and we laughed until we cried some more. You haven’t seen stars until you have been to this desert. Just wow! It was like being in the StarLab in 5th grade, but real! Here are some images of my sweet friends and our darling model. More to come! xo

It meant a lot to me that the Rice family wanted to get in one more family portrait session before they moved out of state. Have loved working with them the past few years and sad to see them go. At the same time, I am very happy for their once in a lifetime opportunity of their advancement in the United States air force. Hugs and congratulations! xo

The sand may brush off. The salt may wash away. The tans may fade. But the memories will last forever.

I know summer time makes everyone think of the beach, but I much prefer the beach in the fall… especially with the Mumme family. I am always up for scheduling beach sessions with clients. For this special session, God painted the perfect sky.

Congratulations to this sweet girl! Loved working with Lexi for her earthy styled senior portrait session. Such a sweet spirit with an awesome athletic talent. She is off to St. Edwards to play soccer in the fall. I will definitely be cheering her one!
