Kim and Scott are getting married!!!! Their wedding is going to be a HUGE party. It is going to be so much fun! Kim stressed about choosing the perfect location….. so where did we go?! Their own backyard. duh. I had no idea they had these amazing old barns right at their house. No need to go anywhere else– we had a magical forest all to ourselves.

Photographing couples as in love and adorable as Renee & Jonathan is why I love shooting weddings. The day we shot their engagement session was really really cold and rainy. Despite the heat between these 2, and all of the warm embraces, we had to call it a wrap when sweet Renee’s lips started turning blue. I always want to be bff’s with couples after we have planned a session and then finally meet. I immediately loved these 2 and am looking forward to working with them again and again. xo

LHP is ready for the first 2012 gieveaway, & Valentines day is just around the corner! soooooo- In honor for the very cheesy (yet sweet) day, it’s time to dig out your old pictures, or get creative and take a new one. Everyone needs updated pictures! With their permission, you may even submit your parents or grandparents. There are a few requirements– must be “G” rated, you must be married for 3 or more years, focus of entry must be on couple (no family pics), one entry per family, & must be willing to schedule session before the end of February. Email images to Haley at LauraHaleyPhotography@hotmail.com.

All submitted pictures will be posted on Facebook (on the Laura Haley Photography fan page). These will not be tagged or name you in any way to keep things fair…. you are welcome to post information on your own personal page.

All LHP page visitors will “like” the Laura Haley Photography fan page. In order to vote, they must “like” the image. Votes will be counted by “likes” on each image – not comments. The image with the most votes will be the 1 and only winner.

The world is grand, but so small at the same time. It thrills me to realize how we are all so connected. It is fun to get to know new clients and realize all of the people we have in common. The Daniel family were the same way! It was also so nice for the boys to be so laid back and up for whatever. With boys at the “cool” age– taking family portraits is the last thing they want to do. They were great! xo

I am finally back in San Antonio (for 2 days) after traveling around for the Christmas Holiday. It was great, but I love my job and am glad to be back at work. Here is where we spent most of our break… relaxing at the ranch with family. Bad cell service — paradise! xoxo
